My mother didn't bake very much but when she did, it was a real treat. This recipe has been in my family for over 50 years and I still make it quite often. My mother was diabetic and so is my son so this recipe was good to make because it only has one cup of sugar in the whole recipe. The cookie is very simple but it has a unique flavor probably because of the orange juice. However, it doesn't taste like orange at all!
