Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 cup yellow onion, sautéed in olive oil
  • 1 pound cooked brisket
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Dough:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Filling

    Combine ingredients in food processor and grind until well combined. Remove and place in bowl until ready to assemble   

     

    Dough

    Combine Flour, Eggs, Water, Salt in Food Processor until dough forms a Ball. Roll out dough using a pasta maker or with a rolling pin and cut into 2 inch squares. Place 1 Tablespoon of of filling in center of dough. Fold into triangle and and press firmly to seal. May need water to help seal.  Cook in Boiling Salted Water for 15-20 minutes. Remove and Chill until ready to add to soup.
