Everyone is invited to celebrate Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, at the Jewish Community Center on May 6. The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a children’s carnival, with live music and hors d’oeurves later on.

Children’s Carnival

5:30-7 p.m., JCC Pavillion

Kids will have a blast at Israeli City Stations where there will be games, obstacle courses, balloon art, crafts, inflatables, face painting and much more! Learning about Israel has never been so much fun. Star Catering will have food available for purchase.

B’nai B’rith Jewish Trivia Quiz

Yom HaZikaron Ceremony and Live Concert

7:15-8:15 p.m., JCC Theater

Partnership2Gether proudly presents Omaha’s Community Shaliach, Eliad Eliyahu ben Shushan, in concert! He will celebrate Israel’s Independence Day by leading the Yom HaZikaron Ceremony and follow with a wonderful 50-minute concert.

Wine and Hors d’oeuvre Reception

8:15 p.m., JCC Gallery

After the concert, relax and schmooze with Kosher Israeli wines and Israeli hors d’oeuvres.
