The final session of the Klutznick Learning Series, “What is it About the Ten Commandments?” will take place this coming Monday evening, March 31 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the JCC Social Hall.

The series, which has been presented by the Center for Jewish Life, has examined the Ten Commandments from both a traditional and “real world” view with presentations by clergy and community members.

The March 31 session will feature Rabbi Steven Abraham and Ellie Greenspoon discussing “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” The second half of the evening will include a conclusion by Marty Shukert, giving another spin on the commandments and brief remarks by Dr. Leonard Greenspoon.

The series is open to the community, free of charge and is sponsored by the fund of the Klutznick Chair of Jewish Civilization at Creighton University. For more information, call (402) 334-6463 or email mkirchhoff@jewishomaha.org. The series is presented by the Center for Jewish Life whose mission it is to maximize involvement of Omaha’s Jewish community in imaginative, compelling and meaningful Jewish experiences.
