Membership in MRJ is another way to get involved in the Temple Israel community.  Dues of $36 support all sorts of Temple Israel programs including the Purim Carnival, gifts for B’nai Mitzvah students, a Mother’s Day brunch for Religious School families, and other needs that Temple Israel’s budget cannot address. MRJ has a long tradition of hosting Sunday morning bagel breakfasts featuring guest speakers from the Omaha community. From the Omaha Chief of Police to the director of the Anti-Defamation League, MRJ always delivers a lively program on a hot topic. At their annual Poker Night, players of all skill levels come together to raise money for Temple Israel’s programs.
