The chapel was added in 1965, a gift of Milton Livingston as a memorial to his wife Corinne, who had died in 1961. The chapel was dedicated on March 25, 1966, and renamed the Milton and Corinne Livingston Chapel after Milton was persuaded to allow their names to be added.

The Chapel as presently seen is an enlargement to the east of the original area, and now accomodates about 100 worshippers. The use of lighting, color, configuration and art combine to make the chapel a place warmly conducive to prayer and adaptable for many circumstances of joy and sorrow as well as for personal meditation.
