Temple Israel is proud to partner with KANEKO, a non-profit cultural organization that dedicatated to exploring and encouraging the process of creativity, and how it impacts our lives, in presenting “The Black-Jew Dialogues” on Saturday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m.
“The Black-Jew Dialogues” is a two-actor play starring Emmy-award winner Ron Jones and entertainer Larry Jay Tish that tackles racial and cultural issues between African-American and Jewish communities.
“The Black–Jew Dialogues” uses fast-paced sketches, improvisations, and multi-media to reveal the history and absurdity of prejudice and racism within the context of the African-American and Jewish experience.
Tickets for the evening performance of “The Black-Jew Dialogues” are $5 and can be purchased here.
Prior to the performance on Saturday, Jones and Tish are also holding a Diversity Workshop from 1 – 4 p.m. that focuses on cultural literacy, behavior, multicultural awareness training and more.
