UPDATE: Left Out in the Coal

By a vote of 233-175, the US House of Representatives passed H.R. 3049 which would curtail the EPA’s ability to regulate coal and make the dirtiest form of energy even worse for our environment. As of right now, it does not look like this bill will pass the senate; however, there is always a risk that it will get folded into other legislation since it is being framed as a jobs bill rather than an anti-environment package. Be sure to check back for updates on this and other key legislative actions that threaten our environment.
