Temple Israel is excited to welcome Anat Hoffman as a Scholar-in-Residence on February 5 and 6. Hoffman is executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center, the legal and advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel, and the chairwoman of Women of the Wall, a social advocacy organization dedicated to changing the status-quo that is currently preventing women from being able to pray freely at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Azriel, Rabbi Brown, Gary Kaplan and Israeli native Mor Sheinbein have recorded videos explaining why they think Hoffman is an important figure in Israeli history and urging everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to hear her talk about these vitally important issues.
